Members Update (Contact Details, e-mails etc)

Dave will produce this by the end of February and Paul to use Oracle to ask of any changes to members’ contact details, etc.

Hall Lane Merger

Hall Lane’s proposal of merging with Ivanhoe at their ground was discussed. As there are no firm details yet, this was just a matter of airing a few views prior to the informal meeting with Hall Lane representatives on Feb. 1st.

  • Pros –much lower costs; outdoor shooting available more often
  • Cons – change of venue not good for some members; indoor shooting is Sunday morning (Ibstock Leisure centre not available on week nights) so in winter would clash with outdoor sessions

It may be possible to shoot outdoors at Hall Lane, and indoors at Ivanhoe in the week.

Some questions raised to take to the meeting with Hall Lane;

  • Is the Leisure centre available if club willing to pay higher costs?
  • What is the financial state of the club?
  • What is the state of the ground in bad weather?

No decisions will be made on this matter without consultation of all club members, and it is likely that an EGM will be arranged for this purpose.
