Junior Indoor Postal League
Leicestershire and Rutland County Archery Association have launched a new indoor postal league for junior archers - the Leicester & Rutland 300. This postal league take place throughout the winter months and has a round nominally each month from November through to March. The rounds are shot indoors on Wednesday evenings of each month and the dates for this league are below:
- 8 November 2006
- 29 November 2006 (second Wed of December is Christmas Fun Night)
- 17 January 2007
- 21 February 2007
- 21 March 2007
Format of Shoot
The indoor Leicester & Rutland format is one dozen arrows at a 60cm Portsmouth face, one dozen arrows a 40cm FITA 18 face and one dozen arrows at a Worcester (PAA) face all at 20 yards, making a total maximum score of 300. All the target faces are on the same boss and can be shot in various orders
