Chair - Aileen Nevin
Since taking up the sport in 1995 I have been privileged to shoot for both Northamptonshire and Leicestershire & Rutland County Teams. Among the high spots in my shooting career are winning the Northamptonshire Ladies Championships on several occasions and holding many County Records.
Competitive by nature, I love the challege that archery offers - the facilities to measure self improvement combined with the opportunity to be part of a team. I thrive on the thrill of a competition but also appreciate the moments of stillness, the concentration required to produce the 'perfect' shot and the satisfactory thud as the arrow hits the target.
As a club, Ivanhoe has a vast wealth of expericence in all aspects of archery - I personally have benefited greatly from this pool of knowlege and want to be able to help pass on our enthusiasm for the sport to others. |

Records Officer - Mick Edwards
Mick has been shooting for five years and has won the club Indoor Championships three time. He claims his average outdoor performance is due to technical problems, although he has recently gained a place on the county squad, so he can't be doing too badly...
He was once the only member of Ivanhoe to have shot 'the flaming arrow' although there have been plenty of other profanities floating through the air since the memorable occasion when his achievement was equalled..!
