I am alone at home at the moment. My wife has just got into the taxi and set off. She"s taking her driving theory test today. She did not want me to give her a lift to the driving centre. She said it could bring bad luck. You have to take a taxi, a bus, or simply walk to the centre on the day of your exam. Well, I have never heard of such a superstition, to be honest. I am sitting in our living room. I do not feel like turning on the computer of TV. The cat is lying beside me, relaxed. But I am not relaxed at all. I guess I am more nervous that my wife! I really want her to pass this test. If she does, she could take her practical driving test next week. If she passes both tests, she might get her driving licence in two weeks" time. We are planning a trip to the seaside in a couple of weeks. It is a long way and I would feel really exhausted if I had to drive all the time. Besides, I want my wife to pass her theory test and practical driving exam because her boss seems to be unhappy with the fact that she still does not hold a driving licence. I know she would not like to lose this job. She really likes it and it is difficult to get a new one nowadays. I think I will call my wife in twenty minutes. She will have already left the examination room.
